After a night up close and personal with the stars on the red carpet, “The Fashion Team’s” Lawrence Zarian invites Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City,” designer Nick Verreos, celebrity stylist Jen Rade and hair stylist Kim Vo to the studio to talk about the celebrities’ hottest looks – from hair to dresses to bags and shoes!

At a news conference staged on the CBS show’s courtroom set in a Brooklyn studio, where production on the new season has been under way for weeks, Margulies herself indicated that the relationship between Alicia and Peter is evolving, possibly in a warmer direction, if their steamy sex scene is any indication. That’s bad news, of course, for Will Gardner (Josh Charles), who had been in pursuit of Alicia last season right up to, and including, the finale’s cliffhanging moment.

“I think what starts happening in their relationship is they have really discovered that they work [as aggressive courtroom attorneys] the same way. And it’s a turn-on for both of them,” Margulies said of the chemistry and history between Peter and Alicia. “It doesn’t mean they are, essentially, back together, but they are trying to make things work, and certain things are showing a light.”

“I agree with my ‘wife’,” added Noth, who was seated beside her. “I don’t think the stitches are out yet of the wound that never heals but leaves a scar.

Deadline Hollywood: You’ve already won the Golden Globe, a SAG Award, and honors from the Television Critics of America for your Good Wife role. The Emmy is in the bag, right?

Julianna Margulies: [laughing] Oh, not a chance. The Emmys are honestly very unpredictable. I mean, have you looked at my Emmy record? I was nominated 6 times for ER and won once. So you never know at all. But my God, it’s all icing at this point anyway. The fact our show is being watched and I’m winning accolades for my performance is already beyond my wildest expectations.

DH: Really? Your wildest expectations?

JM: Yes, honestly. Just look at the category I’m in and the nominees. There isn’t one of them I wouldn’t vote for. They’re all just so amazing. To be included in that group with women like Glenn Close and Kyra Sedgwick is a little bit astonishing to me. To even be mentioned in the same sentence as Glenn Close is just ridiculous.

Q&A with Lead Actress nominee Julianna Margulies

The Good Wife has tapped Dallas Roberts to play the potentially recurring role of Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) never-before-seen gay brother, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Exec producer Robert King, however, says don’t expect a whole lot of drama to arise from his sexual orientation. “We just thought [it would be interesting] if it didn’t matter.
“Everybody around them thinks it’s an issue between them, but there’s no issue,” he reiterates. “We kind of like that it voids expectations of what will happen between them.”
So what will happen when Owen, a University of Oregon mathematics teacher, passes through Chicago as a visiting professor? “What this character allows us to do is access more of Alicia’s back story,” King explains. “She was always the good older sister, he was always the younger, more free-spirited brother.”
“And,” he adds, “we’ll see a little bit about what their parents were about.”
